Dental Physiotherapy
Dental physiotherapy is a form of manual therapy focused on treating dysfunctions of the temporomandibular joint, as well as the muscles of the face and neck. It is based on a holistic approach to the patient, considering the interrelations between the musculoskeletal, nervous, and respiratory systems. Collaboration among various specialists—physiotherapists, dentists, osteopaths, and speech therapists—is key. The goal of the therapy is not only to reduce pain but also to restore proper function and support the body’s self-regulation mechanisms.
