Pediatric Physiotherapy
Pediatric physiotherapy at our clinic involves collaboration between several specialists to improve the function of facial muscles, temporomandibular joints, and body posture, thereby supporting orthodontic and speech therapy treatment.
Areas of focus in pediatric physiotherapy at our clinic:
Our goal is to stimulate the orofacial area to regulate disorders of breathing, swallowing, sucking, chewing, tongue protrusion, excessive salivation, incorrect jaw positioning relative to the maxilla, and speech impairments. We aim to achieve lip closure by working not only with the muscles around the mouth but throughout the entire myofascial chains. We apply knowledge of the motor development of the whole child’s body. We strive to support development and improve function in a pleasant atmosphere, using proven pediatric physiotherapy methods.
How do we work with young patients?
We cooperate with orthodontists and speech therapists who trust us by referring their young patients. At every stage of treatment, phone or email consultations are possible. The process of change and guiding proper development takes years, which is why we value good communication with doctors and speech therapists outside our team.
